  • Comments Thread For: WBC Believes Draw Verdict Was Proper Ending For Wilder-Fury

The World Boxing Council sees nothing wrong with the scoring outcome to last Saturday's fight between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and challenger Tyson Fury. After twelve rounds of action, the contest ended in a twelve round split draw at the Staples Center in Los Angeles - with scores of 115-111 for Wilder, 114-112 for Fury and 113-113 for the draw.

Of course it's a "proper ending" for them. Gotta let the masses bet on Wilder by KO or Fury by Decision and cash in on a draw! lol

Course it does. He's had that title for 4 years and made one mandatory defense. Supposed to be one per year They can't give Stevenson anymore voluntaries though. Russian took care of that Saturday didn't he ? Muhahaahahahah

"All three judges are honorable members of the boxing community with unquestionable integrity and honorability. Wilder and Fury fought like warriors inside the ring, but at the end gave everybody a lesson of humility. We are extremely proud for their behavior and sportsmanship.

The WBC tried to get the mandatories to fight Superman. They all refused. I know you don't really like facts though.

Also, see you failed to mention why Wilder hasn't had more mandatories. Because all the mandatories had to take peds when they realized who they had to fight. I guess Wilder shouldn't ko everyone if he wants his mandatories to fight him, instead of juicing up though.

Wilder finally got so fed up with it, he allowed Fury to take all the peds he wanted for three years and only sign up for ped testing one and a half months before the fight.

Even with all the peds, and over 40 seconds to recover from two knockdowns, Fury still couldn't do anything.

I agree with you though, if Wilder wants to keep fighting the best, he is going to have to talk the WBC into allowing all his opponents to skip the VADA testing the WBC requires. It was stupid in the first place. Who is going to fight Wilder without peds?!? Its like Joshua said, its easy talking about it, but another thing actually doing it.
