They had to pay Ward in excess of 8 million dollars, plus three tune ups just to get him in the ring.

How much have they paid Golovkin to fight bums? He won't even take 10 mil to get in the ring with Canelo.

Do you think that I'm a Golovkin fan or something? I agree that he's an idiot, I'd lace them up right now and fight Canelo for 10 million.

Ward showing up for the fight isn't a good enough reason to call people dumbasses and pathetic fools. Kovalev didn't pull out of the fighter either. Nobody has won the fight so a premature celebration isn't called for.

He was willing and eager to get in the ring with Canelo when Canelo had the WBC world middleweight belt he wanted. Canelo chose to drop the belt rather than fight GGG for it. Why should GGG take 10 million when he is half of the biggest fight in boxing? Canelo would probably get 40 million or more. Khan and Cotto both made much more than 10 million for fighting Canelo in fights that weren't as big as a GGG vs Canelo fight would be. Haters trashed Pacquiao for not taking 40 million to fight Mayweather but he ended up making much more than twice that much by demanding to get his fair share of the money. You are a dedicated GGG hater. You aren't fair or neutral. You trash him every chance you get. You seem to hate him just for being alive and breathing air. GGG deserves a minimum of 35% of all the money available to pay the fighters. That still would leave Canelo a very large 65% of the money. GGG's 35% would probably be close to 20 million.

No way he makes $20 mil with 35%. You do know cable providers and HBO take half of the PPV money? 1 million buys = $70 mil, $35 mil to split between the fighters/promoters pay for the undercard etc.

10 mil is a great offer for a none PPV fighter. Khan didn't make more, the 13 mil number was if the fight did great PPV. it didn't. Canelo took the short money against Cotto, doesn't mean he should give in again. Cotto was a PPV star and an HOF that earned his position in the sport, Golovkin isn't.
