Theres no argument here. Pac is in his prime.. Floyd is in or close to in his prime. Both are legit WW's. The better fighter will win.. How can there be an excuse?

Some historians say Duran is greater than Leonard... Even though Leonard beat him twice, even though Leonard beat Hearns and Hagler while Hearns and Hagler beat Duran. Greatness is not about to head-to-head match-ups is about total resume. And, like you said Pac resume is better. So how can Pac not be better? It don't matter if Pac losses to Floyd. And, IMO Pac is not a legit WW. He just so great that he can fight at WW. But, he can still make 140 comfortably. Floyd can not make 140 so that makes Floyd a legit WW. And, Pac a small WW who is so great that he can beat bigger fighters.

Floyd needs to capitalize on Pacquiao's retirement. After Pacquiao retires, probably after he loses to Floyd, Floyd can get a couple of big wins against Berto/Mosley and someone else, whoever else is relevant at the moment because there's always someone new for Floyd to fight.

I always thought that was for every fighter. There is someone new for every single fighter to fight. Not just for Floyd.

If Mayweather beat Pacquiao, Pacquiao would still be the most accomplished in this era. Mayweather will be the better of the 2 but Pacquiao would still be the more accomplished.
