Russell is 100% right. Davis is a fraud and he's a ducker.

People forget Russell Jr was was willing to fight Loma and was the first to drop him but the ref didn’t call it!
He’s beaten Jhonny Gonzalez and Jo Jo Diaz both who are champs/former champs, and I would favor him over everyone at 126!
I would actually except this fight even though I think Tank will win!
Make it happen, Tank you getting called out man, Russell Jr want that smoke young man!

Leonard Ellerbe isn't about to let Russell beat the "it factor" out of Davis.
The "it factor" is Davis's ability to fight tomato cans and still make a Lenard unearned pay checks. Davis can fight but he's kinda like a smaller Danny Garcia without the two losses, he needs to be matched well.

Davis on the "Andre Berto" plan - avoid any risk(Loma/Russel) and fight any available b-level hispanic fighter available.

Valid point. I’d still favor speed over power.Originally posted by deanrw View PostI'm not so sure about that. GRJ looked very vulnerable against Jojo for the first few rounds of their fight. He may have just been ring rusty, but since he only fights once a year, he will be rusty against Tank also. If he fights Tank like he fought Jojo, he loses.

hard to decide who to root for lmao.
1) The part-time boxer who has no desire for boxing and only returns once a year for his paycheck?
or
2) the one who keeps dragging smaller fighters up to jr. lightweight instead of fighting rated guys in his weight class.

Russel is a good fighter BUT he doesnt hit hard enough to get respect from Tank. Tank WILL run him over. That said, id like to see it. For free. Wouldnt pay 5 bucks to see it. I would pay to see Loma vs Tank
