There’s definitely something kinda bootleg-ish about DAZN. I finally broke down and subscribed for Canelo-Jacobs. I’m not very tech savvy, so I went ahead and subscribed for a year. Mostly so I don’t have to worry my wife about trying to download stuff to my electronics every time there was a fight on the damn thing I was halfway interested in. And for whatever reason, my bank flagged it as a potential fraudulent transaction. The next day I had to approve the payment. But before I even got around to doing that, DAZN had emailed me that my payment didn’t go through and my account was at risk to be canceled. The thing is, I had already watched the fight. So if I were super poor and/or petty, that could probably turn into a pretty good scheme to steal their product whenever there’s a fight on there I really wanna see. Either way, I never had anything happen like that with the PPV format. I’ve had trouble ordering fights. But the damn TV damn sure went blank before they gave their product away for free.
