  • Should Kovalev sue Klimas and Main Events for possible Ali Act violations?

Force them to open the books and see if there were any payments made to Klimas for advising Kovalev to allow Main Events to pull out of the Stevenson purse bid. Duva used the purse bid situation for leverage to get a new contract with HBO which clearly benefited her company more than it benefited Kovalev. He missed out on the biggest payday of his career and also a chance to become the lineal and undisputed champion of the LHW division. That distinction could've opened up more revenue streams for Kovalev. Not having that distinction affected his future paydays. Why would a manager advise his fighter not to go thru with the purse bid when the manager would've been receiving his highest payday also? Kovalev didn't receive a purse for this fight. His pay was based on gate revenue and PPV sales. Nicole Duva is saying gate revenue is projected to be lower than the first fight. PPV sales may also be lower. Pulling out of the purse bid was clearly not in the best interest of Kovalev but it was in the best interest of Main Events. Why would a manager advise his client to do what's best for the company instead of what's best for his client? I've always felt something fishy was going on in that situation.

Duva is a dirty slag who's done Kovalev real dirty outside the ring. He's been ripped apart outside by Klimas and Duva and was beat inside by Ward
