Well he had great cardio in his prime and was a warrior with a good chin, so I'd say it's possible.

      But, he lost to Ruiz.
      Barabeem!

I think Holy would have beat Joe too.

I agree. Joe Louis is dead so should be a fairly easy W for him.

For the record I'll take any live boxer or regular mfer over any all time great boxer who's currently dead.

--- Field ran out of steam early on many occasions, say against Bowe and hanging on to big george for dear life to keep a 40yr old geezer from teeing off.

He's also punch drunk. Put Dempsey, Louis and Rocky on Fields vitamins and he'd be as a lamb to slaughter.

If he gets to use his roids then it would be a competative fight.

Withought roids Holyfiled would get victimized

CW Holyfield would get stopped by Louis, but he would have his moments. HW Holyfield, hard to say. He did war with Dokes and Cooper, who I think Louis would have disposed of more decisively and without all the fuss, but he also beat Tyson and Bowe and fought Lewis to a near standstill. Hard to call it

Lol, Holy says some things that ring true and some things that are just ridiculous. "Joe Louis got 25 defenses because they didn't have videotape". Huh? That means Louis didn't either.

He also calls Joe Louis kind of slow. What does that make Holyfield, molasses?

Holyfield went through hell and back during his career and proved he's an atg. He's entitled to say he thinks he's the greatest of all time if he wanted to.
