There is some research that suggests vaccinations may not last for life. They are extremely effective at first but may lose effectiveness later in life. It takes 95 percent of the population living in close proximity to be vacciated so it provides full effectiveness as a deterrent. Some people are choosing not to get vaccinated compounding the risk. Measels and mumps are serious diseases especially if you get them later in life. There are celebrities that have zero medical background actively discouraging people to avoid vaccinating their children.
