WASHINGTON (AP) — Former top White House adviser Hope Hicks is refusing to answer questions related to her time in the White House in an interview with the House Judiciary Committee, according to several frustrated Democrats who have been in the meeting.

Less than an hour into the interview, part of the panel's investigation into obstruction of justice and special counsel Robert Mueller's report, Democrats said she was following White House orders to stay quiet about her time as an aide to President Donald Trump.

"She's objecting to stuff that's already in the public record," said California Rep. Karen Bass. "It's pretty ridiculous."

But again, winning Congressional elections isnt something Trump can do unilaterally. The voters decide, and sadly alot of them are "stupid".

I don't blindly defend Trump. I've stated my disagreement with his drug policy, for example.

Trump never was a liberal.

He was a Democrat, but no liberal one.

Same as Reagan, interestingly enough.

Reagan switched to Republican by the start of the 1960s.

He was president 20 yrs later after years of being a Republican governor.

Plus the Democrat party changed drastically in the 1960s.

They again changed drastically the last few years in that they are now openly socialists.

I believe that's what drove Trump away.

Look at what Trump promised and then did in office, not what party he used to belong to.

The guy is pretty conservative.

I respect the hell out of him for trying everything he can.

Mexico has some good diplomats right now

They know how to make deals

I think it's still wrong, in principle, to blame Mexico and force the to do what our own country wont do.

But Mexico does depend a lot on us and had to placate us.

Mexico has done a good job dealing with the us unlike other countries.

Mexico and the asians and east euros seem more willing to make deals.

The canadians and western euros sometimes grandstand rather than make a deal.
