**** that. Despite disliking Canelo and his promotions they are not obligated to paying lottery winnings to the likes of Sergey D. Not only that, the assh0le actually thinks he should get 7 mil teying to use his mando leverage to blackmail golden boy.

Sanctioning bodies should remove mandatory positions to those who are refusing to accept a fair deal. And elevate the next fighter to be the mandatory.

I hope GBP gets a good deal with Andrade who seems to be genuine in wanting to fight the best.

This is coming from a fan who had antagonized Canelo since the Gol9vkin fiasco

Bro, the mandatory challenger is not obligated to take step aside money. If Canelo offered him $50 million and Derv said "Nah, fight me or drop the belt", Canelo should be obligated to do just that.

The step aside money is how Stevenson went years and years without fighting a mandatory. Fuck that.

You forgot to mention this chump didn't deserve the mandatory spot so soon, as he got beaten by Jacobs who was in turn beaten by Canelo

what did he do to deserve another shot after Jacobs? going life and death with some unknown scrub from germany?

basically, IBF's whimsical rules gave this guy a free lottery ticket, without deserving ****

He did deserve it. He got offered the purse he “didn’t deserve” twice

Yeah, there has to be some corrupt practices going on behind the scenes fans have zero knowledge about.
How can a guy who has been defeated already become mandatory again to the top 2 guys who already beat the guy he can't beat?

              FBI should investigate these people.

                He didn't deserve ****

he got soundly beaten by Jacobs

then he barely beat some bum from germany ranked like #50 in the division

yet he somehow deserves a shot against the cash cow, #1 mw, who's also the man who beat his daddy? gtfo

Canelo got screwed by the IBF pricks

I’m not defending mandatories because they’re like never the top guy in the division.

But it is the way life is in boxing. If you want to keep the title, you fight the mandatory.

So SD is worth money because of the mandatory.
And the guy who beat him soundly (it was a close fight) made twice as much money for fighting Canelo than SD was offered.

That seems like a fair punishment for losing once to a guy, being worth half of what he’s worth.
