I think Cano beat Paulie more clearly than Broner

Paulie definitely took the Cano fight really lightly, he looked like crap. But Cano is pretty damn good also. Cano should fight Broner, I doubt his team would let that fight happen, Broner's team that is.

It turns out Cano is a pretty good fighter, and that should have been solidified (once again) two weeks ago in his nice effort against Mosley. He had Shane rocked multiple times and went the 12 with him in a competitive fight.

But even then the discussion on the Paulie/Broner fight never really changed...ppl still thought it was a dumb matchup and both his detractors and fans thought he would steamroll Malignaggi because the "bum" Cano beat him.

So a lot of this fallout is really disingenuous because there were only a handful of people rating Cano as a solid fighter and saying that the Paulie fight was going to a measuring stick (against that style) for Adrien.

It's because of Morales, it looks really bad to get stopped by him at that point. TBF, other than the cuts he didn't do much worse than Maidana, who himself had the advantage of that horrible swelling on Morales. Plus even a shot Morales was a big step up in comp for Cano
