Mayweather can comfortably go up to 154, in fact, Mayweather will look like the bigger man come fight night, because he can carry that weight with no problem. Mayweather is pre-selling his win if he beats cotto, he is hyping Cotto up so that he can say he beat the better Cotto, or he is preparing his escuse incase the seemingly impossible takes place.

In regards to the Pac Cotto fight being stopped with less than than a minute to go and costing Cotto his dignity I think Cotto lost his own dignity by running for 9 rounds. It would have been classier for him to just retire from the fight than to fight in full retreat.

At the end of the day Pacquiao fought Cotto at 145 for a 147 belt, then he fought Margarito at 150 for a 154 belt then made Cotto rematch his first choice but then still want another catchweight, Sorry but he or his fans don't have the moral high grounds if people ***** on him for that regardless if he beats Cotto at any weight.

So basically Mayweather is making excuses whether he wins or loses...

What I want to know is if Pacquiao ducked Cotto like the plaque?

Mayweather has a double standard when he says Pac is fighting his leftovers. Now he fights a guy Pac beat the hell out of and he says Cotto is really an undefeated fighter. Give me a break. I wish he would have fought Canelo, a real undefeated big jr. middleweight and a very dangerous fighter.

not to mention cotto had a tough time again against a one-eyed margarito whom pac toyed for 12 rounds and can KO anytime he wants to.

but now they're using it to hype may-cotto?(even if they actually dont have to.
its already an attractive fight even without manny's name mention on it.)

saying manny ducked cotto and all that, he was weight drain before and all that... what the hell?

                weight issues:

and i would also like to mention that floyd is bigger than pac and has a middle weight frame already thats why its okay to him to fight 154, so why bashed manny for it???

pac was 138 against hatton, cotto was 146 against clottey?
then weight drained at 145?? cotto was still walking around 160 that night he fought pac. and the 145 even helped him with his stamina IMO.
he was 159 at fight night when he was fighting at 140 as i can remember...

im not hating on anybody.. but please just dont bash pac just to hype up may-cotto because its nonsense....

pac dominated cotto, and he will beat him again if ever they meet, even if not in the same fashion.
if you have ever boxed or wrestled in highschool or college you would know how hard it can be to cut 2 pounds when your cutting muscle but clearly you havent thats why catch weights are no big deal to you. anyways pac fighting cotto at welterweight when he hasnt been there in 3 years is a ****ty fight. if pac said rematch at jr middle no catchweight that fight would be bigger than mayweather cotto. anyways great fight and cotto has all the advantages coming into this fight youth, weight/muscle and a great jab which is the foundation to build upon to beat mayweather.

Any tittle fight should be at the full weight limit and Cotto should have insisted on 147 but he agreed to 145 of his own free will. The marg fight was a good win for Pac but should not have been for the tittle since niether had earned a ranking at 154 and the limit was 150 instead of 154. Pac quickly vacated the tittle since he knew he did not deserve it and he wanted to stay at 147. He offered Cotto a shot at at his tittle at 147 the welterweight limit and not a catchweight. How many times does Pac have to say he is staying at 147 and does not want anybody's 154 lb title. Who is Cotto to cry when he tried to defend his 154 lb tittle against Marg at 150 lbs.?

Well i didn't want to see a part II because he beat Cotto decisively, and would rather have someone fresh in there instead of these beaten up no hoppers. Imagine Cotto,Margarito, Mosley, then Cotto II again? and another catch weight for a title? c'mon, Bradley is better, too bad he doesn't have any pop.

Floyd vs Cotto isn't "THAT" great either. even if Floyd sees him as an undefeated fighter, it doesn't change the fact that he still got a lot of career changing beatings.
