The UK military lives off of its former glory but I'm quite sure it's deteriorated just as much as the rest of the country.

As far as equipment they have never come close to US mil. They also have a much smaller pool of eligible males to pick from.

And the 800 pound gorilla in the room... They fight under the banner of mid-colonization/conquest country and will probably be splintered by domestic conflict in the not so distant future.

civilians know **** all about what special forces around the world do and therefore what they're capable of. all i know is that US special forces have the best of everything available at their disposal because of our massive military spending. that we can quantify.
