One was that he single handedly fought off about 6 cops at a bar to avoid arrest for him and his friend, another was that he got mad at a fan for calling him fake, so he reached into the guys mouth and pulled out two of the other guy's bottom teeth with his bare hand. That takes some strength. He also broke handcuffs off Superman style.
Feats of strength follow wrestlers like white on rice. Andre the Giant once chased a group of hecklers down in Montreal and turned their car over into the snow, (a volkswagen beetle), etc.

But when you talk to wrestlers themselves they say karl Gotch was the most insanely strong...His exercize routine was rumored to be insane!! But only involved a hotel room with a doorway and a chair...go figure!

Lets qualify the words you use "any truth." A death touch per se? no...truth to the concept? yes. In Chinese medicine along with the different meridians on the body that generate energy are wells that form, called points. These points have many corresponding properties depending on where they are on the human body, and...not all the properties are local: So for example, the point behind your ear where the skull dips down, can correspond to our liver.

Dim Mak the death touch gets its mythological efficacy because according to chinese medicine the time of day has influence on the points. At some times a point can allegedly weaken and cause damage to a vital area...So for example, lets say that the liver is weakest at around 6pm, and that point behind your ear is attacked at this time... Well according to Dim Mak it can slowly destroy the liver, even while the damage is unknown to the person.

In truth while undoubtedly there are times when the body is weaker at certain points, one cannot cause that kind of trauma with an indirect attack on a vital point. Keepin mind that in ancient china there were things like nutritional deficiencies that caused weakness that could be traumatized. But even then, usually a point hit on a meridian would not cause the organ to shut down.

Otherwise, as people point out correctly, there would be a lot more deaths right? The one exception is the heart. This is interesting because the governer's vessel and the vessel of conception which are the points going straight down the center of the chest and spine, from head to toe, are responsible for vital functions...so there might be something to the heart being affected by these points...People often do get heart problems when hit in the chest area, even when not on the heart itself.
