Im so glad my empathy doesn't stretch any further than animals and my family because I would be suffering even more than I already do which is alot.

Also the possibility of animals/creatures/aliens on another planet have it much much worse than us and our life forms, perhaps they have a dominant species that is even more vile than humans, perhaps a pure predator became smart, and has far more nasty instincts than we do

Infact this seems likely given the fact that there are so many planets and stars out there and the fact that life came about here so probably elsewhere too.
