Controllable with life long meds...not curable otherwise there would be no need to continue with med therapy.

Charlie was my 1st guess at the rumour of a Hollywood A-lister being infected... given his lifestyle. Now that it's confirmed I feel bad for him. It's weird when you see a guy with all the money and fame in the world...someone who should be able to enjoy life ending up with absolutely nothing left to enjoy. So many people would have loved to change places with him...now he probably is the one who would love to change places with almost anyone.

HIV is treatable (not curable yet), but once it turns to full blown aids then you're pretty much counting days

Yeah, there's no cure for AIDS. You can only treat the symptoms and other illnesses you get alongside it but the AIDS itself is uncurable.

True, knew a guy in high school who got HIV from some sketchy tattoo guy and he's still kicking it pretty alright so far. Not even a big deal...
