Because for years now boxing has been divided I to two groups. Top Rank vs Haymon. This cold war between promoters unfortunately keeps us fans from getting the fights we want.

Instead of asking them to switch promoters we should be asking them work together. Boxing would be better for everyone if Arum, Haymon, GB and a few others would work together and share the pie.

All started when Floyd insisted Manny leave Arum to make the fight. Since then, all the cheerleaders showed their undying loyalty to Haymon while hating on Arum. Not realizing that Haymon and Arum probably have more in common than they do differences. At least in the manner of doing business.

Almost the same amount given to Garcia, Thurman, Porter when they fought each other.
Mikey Garcia had to fight Broner to get his first $1 mil.
Do you really want Crawford to fight once a year just like Part-time Boxing Champions (PBC)?

Because the best and most lucrative fit at 147 & 154 are with Haymon guys. No more no less. No one asks Loma to leave because the beat fights are non Haymon guys other than Mikey.

Haymon is not a promoter and quite a few of his fighters have crossed over.

I do wonder how Crawford will get a Spence or Thurman in the ring, but I think it’s up to him. If he wants to, he needs to make it happen and force the sides to meet mid-aisle and make it happen.
