Because if GGG had beaten Charlo, then Canelo would have had no choice but to give him a rematch, whether he liked it or not ... because Canelo always does exactly what the WBC tell him to do, yeah?

A better question would be... why did the WBC order GGG to fight their mandatory challenger instead of Canelo?

An even better one ... why are some people still so desperate to find reasons to denigrate Golovkin that they allow their minds to be manipulated by a fat, greasy Mexican con man?

Didn't he say on video recently he'll fight him if the price is right when someone asked him about GGG?
Charlo didn't say or do anything about fighting Golovkin after the WBC mandated it. He went quiet as a mouse and only piped up and started talking again after GGG basically told Sulaiman to shove it.

and yet it... " made no sense at all "... to Team Golovkin

They will say s hit like if GGG wanted the Canelo fight he could have fought Charlo and become Canelo's mandatory. But as we see with the WBC making Canelo their franchise champion (and freezing Charlo out) that is a bunch of crap. The fact of the matter this whole mandatory thing was ordered in early October 2018. HBO had all but permanently abandoned boxing by that point and GGG did not have a network deal. He wasn't looking for a fight by fight deal he was looking for a long term deal. So a fight with Charlo wasn't in the cards until that deal was secured. He had had ESPN, DAZN and PBC all bidding on him. If he signed with ESPN they would have built up a PPV fight with Ryota Murata that sold horrifically. If he signed with PBC a fight with Charlo wouldn't have happened right away. The fight would have been built up to a PPV level clash that did decent but not overwhelming numbers. But he decided to sign with DAZN because they assured him that he would get his desired trilogy fight with Canelo if he joined their stable.

So that's why the GGG/Charlo fight wasn't made when GGG was his mandatory. Don't believe the haters bull sh it. After all, Sergei Derevychenko is a PBC fighter and got a fight with GGG. He had to go to DAZN to get it. Charlo is perfectly content fighting the Brandon Adams and Dennis Hogan's of the world rather than a real threat.

Its a shame because that's one of the fights I really want to see.

insists that those guys are just... " bluffing "...

but, will NEVER question why G does not simply call their... " bluff "...

just like the pac-tards do with Mayweather

          casuals are shlt

2020 and those who haven’t achieved Jack shhh in life are still calling people who fight for a living cowards. The hypocrisy here is so abundant some of y’all should be drowning in it after having forgotten your life preservers. How about new year and less vitriol bullshhh? Eh? Maybe just maybe less negativity and criticism? How much of your life are you going to continue to spend talking sht about people doing better in life than you?

Which is odd, because this same group accused Mayweather, the black guy, of only facing out of prime fighters. Now they want Golovkin to only fight out of prime fighters.

That's horse crap. We want Charlo and Andrade to fight each other because why should GGG be the only one fighting top guys. GGG has fought Canelo 2x, Danny Jacobs and Sergei Dervychenko in the past 3 years. During that time the best guys Charlo AND Andrade fought were Mateyv Korobov and Marcej Sulecki. Ryota Murata keeps trading wins and losses with fringe contenders when he's not matched up with no-hopers. All these guys are milking their belts to get shots at GGG. Canelo is busy bouncing around different weights fighting the easiest available champions for the most possible money after being chased out of a second division by Charlo and Andrade.

The best should fight the best which means of course GGG should fight these guys. But if GGG doesn't fight them right away they should be pushing to fight each other in the meantime instead of can crushing. Andrade is about to fight Luke Keeler and Keeler isn't even a mandatory. Charlo just beat up Dennis Hogan who I don't even think was a top 10 junior middleweight in a fight at middleweight. Its sad that Chris Eubanks Jr is now being pushed as Charlo's next fight AND he still represents the best guy Charlo, Murata or Andrade have ever fought at 160.

Dervenchenko is a better fighter than Charlo anyways.

This is why I never liked Borat

Called out bigger fighters to come down to him (Ward) and smaller fighters to come up to him (Canelo, Cotto, Brook). Refused to let Canelo pick his own gloves and had to pick judges for the rematch...and still complained about judging afterward...AGAIN.

And hes got a career full of Rolls, Vanes, Wade, etc and he CHOSE those fights over the likes of Andrade, Dervenchenko, Canelo/Cotto at 155-157, Brook at 157, Jacobs rematch, Lara, BJS, and of course Andre Ward. That's just too many misses for me
