Kenny Bayless must be applauded for his excellent call last night (Marquez/Katsidis)

    The last couple combinations Marquez landed were just brutal. Katsidis didnt argue with the call for a reason.

    Ive said it a million times before, Bayless is by far the best ref in the business.

      You don't have to be on the floor, spark out Williams style to be "out of a fight". In the space of 30 seconds Marquez was landing everything he threw, Katsidis was stumbling around, putting on a brave show but not throwing anything back and when Katsidis isn't throwing anything back for that long a period, you know he's out of the fight because it#s in his nature to go to war when under pressure, like he did earlier in the fight he responded by rallying back and going for Marquez. In the 9th, that wasn't the case, Katsidis was beaten, a big cut appeared over his eye as well, and it was only a matter of a few more accurate shots by Marquez before Katsidis wilted to the canvas.

      Great call by the ref. Perfectly timed stoppage, once he saw there was no retaliation by Katsidis and that he was cut, hurt and stumbling there was no need for it to go further. Hats off to Bayless.
