Anybody else catch this? Does Robert Garcia have full confidence in Tony or is he just doing it for the paycheck?

He's just doing what trainers do. Letting Tony know what to do and what not to do. It's the little things/habits that Manny will look to exploit.

yeah, point well made. but its weird i think margarito has gotten faster with garcia. atleast that is what it looks like from the seckback videos.

Yes.. Tony is lucky to have Robert. Robert is a underrated trainer with multiple champions under his belt. I'm sure Robert has Tony working on all the little things.. and not to mention the fact that Tony will be in that ring about 15 or so lbs heavier/ 6 inch reach advantage/ 4 inch height advantage.. Manny might be in trouble. This is not the same Tony we have seen in his past two fights IMO.

So picking up on mistakes his fighters make means he doesn't have faith anymore? At this kind of level trainers have to nitpick little things to help improve there fighter and give them a better chance of winning, he picked up on that and told Marg not to do it as much cause it can be a mistake if the other guy picks up on it, remember your not in the ring to take punches you dont need to.

Yeah just like Roach will pick up on any mistakes he sees Manny make, doesn't mean he doesn't have faith in him just means he wants his fighter to be as prepared as he can and give him a better chance of winning.
