    Sampson Boxing's newest promotional signing, Argentinean amateur star and two-time Olympian, Alberto "Impacto" Melian, will be taking the "Lomachenko" route into the professional ranks by facing Diego Ricardo Santillan (23-2, 15 KOs) in an eight-round bout for his first professional fight on Saturday, December 16, at the Macro Stadium of the Argentine Federation of Boxing (FAB) in Buenos Aires.

            yes. one of the best amateurs from my country imo, but unfortunately he has no chin

            very skilled (not even close to lomachenko though)

                  and btw, Lomachenko LOST when they took that route

                  cutting corners, taking shortcuts = amateur as fk

                  that decision smacks of chasing quick money

                  you do not break " givens " in boxing

                  I wish the kid well, but he is not being given every possible chance to succeed..... they should have him fighting every month against a steady progression of experience/style..... just like everyone else
