Former WBA World super featherweight champion Jorge Linares (29-1, 18 KOs) of Venezuela will take on former interim WBA World super featherweight champion Likar Ramos (21-3, 15 KOs) of Colombia. The bout will take place October 24th in Japan. Linares’ recently won the vacant WBA Fedelatin lightweight title in his last bout which was a 10 round unanimous decision over Ricardo ‘Rocky’ Juarez . Ramos will have a fight first in Barranquilla, Colombia with fellow countryman Humberto Martinez (19-4-1, 14 KOs) August 27th.
This fight will be on the Nishioka-Munroe undercard. Roman Gonzalez will be on it too, but no opponent has been named yet.
