    I didn't say the numbers are wrong (or right) . You simply pretended I did.
    I don't feel that the numbers reflect the action, which has a lot to do with the quality of the punches. That's why you can't judge a fight with them. You can however, get an idea of how much people are landing, or blocking/slipping.

      It matters to me because they are neutral. They just count punches and they don't give a damn about who lands them or if it makes one fighter or the other look like the winner. They may not always get the numbers right but at least they are neutral. Most fans are not neutral and can't be fair to the fighter they want to lose.

        I would fear for the sport if the judges were to use that criteria in the pros. Everyone would turn into Amir Khan, tapping their opponent repeatedly to score points.
