Appreciate the info. Coppinger is usually accurate, so I'll assume he's correct, but it still means a 33.1 average for the deal, even if the Fielding fight was 15 and the others were 35.

If Wilder thought he could win he would have taken Hearns last offer.

This amounts to a guaranteed 27 million first fight.

And then 50% in a rematch which be about 50 /60 million .

That's roughly rounded to in a the 80 million area so not only would he got more for two fights instead of 3...which in this case is 10 million more divided by this scenario. He now has to worry about getting knocked out by Breazeale , when he could have just took the last offer.

Skipper basically just roped him in the the same deal but about 10 million more to fight Breazeale ? Ha

Even if Wilder had lost to Joshua he was guaranteed 35% in a rematch so that would be rounded to about 62 million for two fights on that same number they are using what the fight generates.

So Wilder is getting basically an extra of 30 million ( in a loss to Joshua ) .....and a ( 40 million if he wins )

Under skippers deal. With Breazeale thrown in there however which will probably ruin all this , almost makes me want Wilder now.

So the question is ,is it smart to have still declined offers ?

About 60 million for Hearns last 2 fight deal. ( on a AJ loss)

About 90 Million on skippers 3 fight deal ( on a AJ loss )

Sounds like a disaster in the making to me. but a smart one Wilder needed to take for declining highest pay days, ,either way no one will offer him a guaranteed Joshua fight and 20 million Breazeale fight, which again does this stand if he losses to Breazeale ? If not he still loses in the end.

No, because the deal did not include the 15 from Fielding, so it's 10 fights for $350 = $35 million.

If you add the $15 from Fielding, then yes, your average is correct, but those $15 should not count as they aren't part of the 10 fight/$350 contract.

Those numbers don't shock me.

This isn't a network tying up a fighter. It's a network tying up a fight.

Interim Fight, major fight, major fight rematch.

He was already looking at those numbers for the AJ fight wasn't he? 60/40 first fight.

Wonder if the end of this 3 fight deal will coincide with the end of Fury's 5 fight deal.

The ESPN deal might end up worthless if Fury bores his way through 5 cans. Then he can sign to DAZN for the big fights.

The full deal would only proceed after Wilder beats Breazeale.

There's no IFs about whether or not he wins, though. Dominic got knocked on his ass by Amir Mansour, Izuagbe Ugonoh, and demolished by Anthony Joshua. Just imagine what's gonna happen when Wilder lands. He won't last four rounds.

Wilder isn't AJ and can't fight coming forward against Breazeales style. He won't win.

While that is crazy money Wilder is a heavyweight champ so he should have been earning these sort of paydays for a while.. he’s had 40+ fights but has been getting single digit M’s for most his recent fights but like he said on 78 sports TV it’s about time he gets what he’s worth.

Is he worth that much? Not really by himself but he can thank AJ for creating a buzz in the heavyweight division which is now getting all the top HW boxers paid well! Wilder had 40 fights but even for his 30th he was unknown, no YouTube channels were supporting him like the way they are now.. Then AJ comes out starts fighting on PPV from his 14th fight selling out stadiums and beating Vlad in a FOTY and now the HW division is back.

Martin got paid well, Whyte has become a PPV star after losing to AJ and Wilder has benefitted from mentioning AJ’s name more than his actual opponent in his fight pressers.
AJ actually isn’t singed by DAZN so he can fight on other networks but for his next fight he is reported to make between 32.8 to 40mil.. then in the 1st Wilder fight if Wilder is getting 40 AJ will get a minimum 50mil and if AJ wins that probably jumps to 60mil so thats around 150mil in 3 fights averaging around 50mil per fight.

GGG is reported to be on a 6 fight 100mil deal... All I can say is DAZN is being bank rolled by a filthy rich billionaire. Bags for days.

Wilder would have to be the dumbest person in the history of the world to turn down that offer.
