I chose Paul but I don’t think he had much of a chance. Only if he could overwhelm Floyd with his size and volume.

My money would be on Floyd to counter the **** out of him all night and win a Decision.

Paul Williams because of the height, punch output and power he showed at147.

His defense was very poor though but welter Floyd had weak hands. A prime Floyd prior to breaking his hands vs Carlos Hernandez would’ve wiped the floor with Williams.

I almost forgot, there could be another way for Paul to beat Floyd without imposing his size and volume.

Simply enlist all the judges from the Lara fight, and Floyd will be easy work.

Paul reminds me of a less wild, taller version of Porter. They both smoother their own shots with their ''volume'' approach. If clumsy, sloth like Margarito was able to land at will.........

Paul Williams was set to fight Canelo Alvarez on September 15th, 2012 at 154.

After Paul was paralyzed, Canelo fought Josesito López on that date, then he fought Austin Trout, then Mayweather in 2013.

It would've been interesting to see what would've happened in the Williams-Canelo fight and the aftermath. Especially, if Williams had won. Canelo would've have lost his 0 in 2012 to Williams, and Manny Pacquiao suffered back to back losses in 2012 (a controversial decision loss to Tim Bradley and a brutal KO loss to Márquez).

Which would've left Paul Williams as the only choice for a Mayweather fight in 2013.

None. Floyd’s accurate punching would have stopped Williams work rate. These guys would have been easy UD. Guerrero style.

Paul Williams. Man is this guy overrated as hell. It's like NOBODY watched the second Sergio fight or something. The guy was blocking punches with his face in tons of fights. Floyd would have pull countered him all night long and had his corner throwing towels.

Not sure why we're even mentioning Kirkland, wasn't he like three weight classes up??

Tim....I would have loved to see the fight stylistically. But one thing with Tim, he's clumsy as hell. Remember, he almost lost to the same Marquez that Floyd barely lost any rounds to. All Tim really has is timing, and Floyd's better at him than that.

But Jeff 'The Hornet' Horn. Wow. I'm not sure Floyd gets out of that with a win, honestly. I want to think that Floyd would do Horn like he did Canelo, but then once Horn gets that first headlock on...
