Definitely need to speed up the process. They shouldn't be allowed endless appeals and sitting on death row for decades. Often outliving the victim's surviving family members. On that note, family members should get to choose method of execution. Once sentenced they get one appeal and then it's time to blow out their candle.

Nowadays if someone gets executed, they get a needle after thirty years of appeals. Hell, they're probably f'd up and begging for death anyway. All the victims' family is gone anyway. Really lousy.
