Mikey moved up 2 weight classes to fight the largest WW and was never hurt, KD, or KOd. He was grossly outboxed by a LONGER, HEAVIER, TALLER opponent.

Being tough enough to get pounded for 12rds is hardly an accomplishment. Garcia’s goal in that fight was to not get knocked out - not to win. Garcia turned out to be a glorified punching bag because he stole a HUGE check and was tough enough and moved enough not to get KO’d.

The “boring” factor rests on Garcia. Garcia took NO CHANCES which he knew could have led to a ‘mistake’ that Spence would’ve/could’ve countered or patiently exploited for the KO. Garcia didn’t allow Spence to make it interesting. Any truly “tough” boxer can hang around for 12rds if he doesn’t come to fight.

He was overmatched. Spence is MORE responsible for the fight being dull than Mikey.

Go back and watch it. Spence backs up and jabs everytime Mikey comes forward. Spence utilized being TWO WEIGHT CLASSES large to win. It was not a boxing clinic - it was a much bigger man using his physical advantages over a smaller man. And Spence NEVER HURT A LIGHTWEIGHT.

Boxing fans show their true color in fights like this. Blame the Underdog who moved up two weight classes for...not making fight better?

What’s Spences “natural” weight? Spence comes DOWN to accommodate welters, he WEAKENS himself. He’s tough, but having to CHASE a natural welter who doesn’t want to engage - while he desperately RUNS to AVOID the risk of absorbing a solid shot(?) is NO SMALL TASK.

Mikey has no business at welterweight, he should of went after Pac at 140 for a passing of the torch fight and entered the wbss there.
