His knockouts look more impressive and his KO ratio is higher, but his foes are not as good competition wise, there are many can demolishers that look awesome due to their competition, not saying he only fought cans, just saying that could be a factor, also you can get more impressive knockouts and still not hit as hard esp with speed, see Tyson who is by far the most impressive KO artist but not the hardest hitter (massive hitter but not the hardest) point being visuals can fool you.

Who else burst a glove for example?

Earnie Shavers KO ratio - 76%

Deontay Wilder KO ratio - 95%

Judging by the knockout ratios Wilder is clearly the harder and heavier puncher of the two.

Who wins the fight is very debatable. It's whoever gets off first would probably decide who would win this fight.

I will say that Deontay was the more athletic of the two and had a much better chin and stamina than Earnie Shavers also.

Wilder knocked out harder guys .

Wilder faced overall harder punchers then Shavers did( he wasn't hit flush by Breazeale ) .

shavers probably takes the better punch but ?

Both guys have watered down resumes and built up their K.O percentages facing very poor opposition ,they are the two most padded records in HW boxing history in fact.

I would put money on wilder simply bc shavers has early defeats while getting landed on ,wilder can be tricky from round 1 to 12

Wilder hits harder but it wouldn't matter ,far less punchers can stun him like fury but Shavers isn't 6'9 so edge would be wilder where shavers opens up first ,but like all wilder fights its going to be who lands a real clean shot first and Wilder hasn't tasted a true Hw power shot YET. Ortiz came close but could Shavers bait wilder or simply go in on him and land THAT punch ?

        IDK,i'll take wilder.

Unless they had common opponents, there's just no way to quantify it.

Shavers power is legendary. Everyone that has facedhim says he unquestionably has the most power...for his era. In this new era Wilder is unquestionably the hardest puncher. The man LITERALLY only has to land one punch for a fighter to be conpletely removed from consciousness.

and 4 months after having a difficult time with Shavers, Ali lost to Leon Spinks.

Foreman was in no way himself when he fought Ali, I would argue that he was mentally ruined by the time he set foot in the ring.

Shavers had a gas chin, and as much flack as Wilder gets for his skill, he would definitely blast Shavers out first.

Yea its shavers his hands are SLOW thats why he doesn't score knockouts like Tyson (also accuracy) does but they are POWERFUL as FCUK
