I don't believe it. Even if he was effected by what happened, dude is too money hungry. I don't even think Connor was ever that obsessed with being a great fighter. He loves the money involved with it. He could have easily fought Nate and taken a fall for another cool few million. This almost seems like pro wrestling what is going down. If anything I think he realized that fighting Diaz at 170 again was a huge mistake and found a way to get out while he could. And I think Dana KNOWS it.
