I am 2% subsaharan african. 2% North african/west asian. Many people have small % of black blood. I am latino though.

Weird how most of that was regulated to entertainment. No need for a black history month. Morgan Freeman at least got that part right, it's American history

Despite popular belief, African/African American history is much deeper than entertainment and sports figures. It's much deeper than slavery and the civil rights movement.

Quite frankly, this "commercial" wasn't impressive at all.

When are we going to hear about great philosophers like Anton Wilhelm Amo instead of Racist like Humes and Kant? Anton had successfully argued against Descartes' mind and body theory, but merely dismissed for the color of his skin.

The irony of this is that the so called philosophical masters violated their own rule of intellectual discourse (Ad hominem) and betrayed their own principle in dealing with Anton Amo.

I’ve never liked the concept of black history month. It’s almost like white people pity the black race so they gave them a month to celebrate.

Black history IS AMERICAN HISTORY in general.
