that's not the problem though, the problem is a robbery.
frampton has to knock cruz out, which i can't really see happening, he seems to have a good set of whiskers.
I don't think he can knock out Santa Cruz either but I really do think he has the tools to win more rounds. The movement, variation and execution of punches. Leo applies good pressure but he needs to be educated in his approach because he could walk right into Framptons game plan.
Frampton is perfectly content with letting it go to the scorecards. I think Leo will have to KO Frampton come the later rounds of the fight.

Undoubtedtly.. Frampton is the better boxer but LSC is a volume & power puncher than Carl.. Carl has to get the best punches in each rounds & should not get caught in pockets.. LSC punches in bunches, so Framptin should stay out of range..
IF there are close rounds the chances are it goes to LSC than Frampton, LSC can knock Frampton out but the vice versa wont happen most likely..Last edited by BoxingFan85; 07-27-2016, 01:14 PM.

There's no way frampton will get the nod if the fight is even remotely close.
I can see it now. 'yer but leo threw 2 thousand punches so its not that bad a robbery'

frampton didn't look good when quigg decided to apply preassure-only a few rounds-pantycruz will put a whole lot more pressure on him, on the other hand, frampton didn't look strong against gonzalez, who is not ranked among the first 10 in the division, in mexico; I think frampton gets hurt and won't make it to the end.

I have seen them both fight and to me there is no comparison. Santa Cruz is a much stronger and better fighter. The mighty Frampton was knocked down twice by a nobody in his American debut. His big showdown grudge fight with Quigg was one of the dullest, least action title fights I've seen. American odds makers have the odds correct. It's the British who are vastly overrating their champion just as they usually do. I think Santa Cruz will attack Frampton with his usual 110 good punches a round from the first round on. It will be more than Frampton can handle. Frampton won't win any rounds. Frampton will be knocked out before the final bell so there is no need to worry about the judges robbing him. I realize if Frampton wins what I've said here will make me look stupid. Frampton is a skilled champion so of course he has a chance to win. I just think he bit off much more than he can chew.

Frampton is a very under rated counter puncher.

Well count me as one that thinks the oddsmakers have it right.
I don't really recall Leo every being truly hurt in a fight (correct me if I'm wrong here), and I don't think Frampton will be the one to do it. I do think his best chance is to slow down Leo early by hurting him, which I think is a tall task.
My initial thought when thinking of the fight again was reach, then I looked them up. Leo will have a 7" reach advantage, which I think is huge. I'm not sure I really see Frampton beating up Leo on the inside, and I'm not sure how he outboxes him from a distance with that sort of reach disparity.
Not saying Frampton can't win this one, but he has a tall task ahead of him.
