Assuming Canelo and GGG win their upcoming fights, Canelo has 15 days to decide, if he vacates the green WBC belt or if he defends it against Golovkin in September.

I wonder if Canelo would actually drop the belt. Was there ever another Mexican champion who vacated a belt because he was scared of his mandatory? What would the Mexican fans say, the media and the other Mexican fighters? Woöö Canelo actually surprise us and take on the GGG challenge?
