The funniest thing about "Joshua running his race" is that, stall as Eddie Hearn has tried, his next fight after Povetkin will either be against Deontay Wilder to have an undisputed champion, or it'll be a battle of wallets with the money backing Kubrat Pulev for his IBF shot.

Or we'll see Anthony Joshua compelled to vacate the very title that elevated him from simply being a UK attraction.

He ducked Wilder hard lol and now that, that fight isn't happening it's all comers welcome (Whyte, Povetkin, Miller and Fury) lol AJ is the beneficiary of the popularity of boxing in the UK, so he can fight who he wants and still bring in huge money.He better keep winning otherwise

The funny this is if AJ lost the rematch would be even bigger as everyone would want to see if he could reclaim the titles. Us Brits eat that up all day!!!

The fact that they have publicly announced his next date and location (which coincidentally were the 2 clarifications needed for the Wilder fight) suggests that they want Wilder next. All the other terms of the contract were accepted, news has broke that Joshua has signed the contract and will be sending it to Wilders team over the next day or so. They want it signed and ready so that there is time to promote the fight and not let press conferences/media appearances get in the way of either of their training camps.

There is no reason why this fight can't/won't happen next... Joshua has said today in an interview that Miller isn't on his radar so it would seem yesterdays stunt was Miller being a *****ing loud mouth as usual.

Hopefully they announce Wilders next fight soon too.

Ideally Wilder will sign the contract then they can have a face off in Wembley, thats why Vlad was allowed into the ring, they already had a contract signed so their fight was announced on the spot. - fantastic marketing because if you've got 90k in a stadium and you announce a fight there and then say 50k of those people instantly share the news on social media and 10 people see each persons post thats 500k within minutes, add on top of that say 1m people watching at home and 50% of them do the same thing thats 500k x 10 = 5m... over 5m people know about it within 2 minutes of it being announced.

I think he knows that deep down but he has to campaign for his countryman. It was not long ago that Deontay went to NASCAR and made a televised appearance at the airport but no one showed up because the local Chinese buffet had a special offer and everyone was there.

Joshua has the STRAPS , he IS the UNIFIED champion whos ranked over Wilder in every major ranking system so no .......

He doesn't need Wilder , who lied to his fans when he AGREED to terms then ran bc he wasnt sure he could win and wouldn't fight without a rematch claus !

He could have fought Jennings but fought Spzilka who lost to Jennings .

And he waited until Parker was obligated to fight Mandatory Hughie to call him out , and then dragged his feet for 8 months with Stiverne calling everyone out even though that was his next fight ? lol


Hes literally fought no notable fighter at the time he fought them besides Stiverne in 2015 who he couldn't dispatch bc Stiverne actually trained for that one and Ortiz at 48 and the bell threw him a life line !

And now pulling his 50 % stunt AGAIN which you probably support bc your one of MANY ******s on the forum who has absolutely no logical thought process !
