300 to Clarke! What an achievement!

      And at his home ground.

I was surprised when Clarke declared when he did. He should've at least declared at the tea break if he was going to declare.

Still would've given India plenty of time to bat.

Did what was best for the team really, secured the win.

Australia bowled out India with a day to go. So Clarke should've stayed there a bit longer.

In Hindsight he could've bat until he got 500. However given the pitch conditions, how far they were ahead, the class of the Indian batting line up (all be it out of form) and the weather that was expected (was looking like showers at one point) he gave his side the best opportunity to win, which they did comfortably. Excellent and very unselfish captaincy.

I know that he was doing what was best for the team but he was only 5 runs away from 334 plus Clarke could've broken all sorts of records.

I guess the drinks break came at the wrong time.

Third test at the WACA about to start. Australia won the toss and elected to bowl.

Strange call to bowl, there's an old saying in cricket 'when you win the toss, 99 times out of 100 you instantly choose to bat, the other time you think about bowling, then choose to bat'

Can't fault the decision though, getting through the Indy's nicely.

                      India are woeful.

Amazing batting by Dave Warner, 100 in 69 balls. Equal 4th fastest century in test cricket history.

Is Shane Watson still injured? Thought he was supposed to be back for this test at the WACA.
