Casa is a good fighter at 130 but Pac beats him and possible stops him as well. For those saying Pac struggles with counter punchers....well Pac can do everything Frietas and Corrales did against Casa expect better.

Every time there is a hypothetical matchup involving Pacquiao, a lot of people start the "Pac always loses the fantasy matchups" stuff, which is true. There's a reason for that though, and it is the transformation of Pacquiao as a fighter.

It is truly a tough situation, at 122-130, Pac was a left hand dependent slugger lacking many of the skills he now has, so many of those more complete fighters would beat him, due to that.

At 147 he loses a LOT of those fantasy fights because he is simply too small for the style he fights to beat many of those greats.

If Pac at 126 had the skills he has now, people would be picking him. If we were talking Pac P4P against Tito Trinidad, we'd be picking Pacquiao. But that's not reality.

I would pick Pac against almost anyone at 140, against many fighters at 135, but he faces extremely tough matchups either stylistically, physically, or both at all his other weights. Rant over.

Honestly bro...fvkk that post and here is why....

First of all Pac loses a fantasy fight to both Cotto and Barrera.

Pac was a one handed puncher going against Barrera who is a good counter puncher, attacks the body well (Pac's perceived weakness), was more skilled and just as good brawling as him. He actually went toe to toe with the greatest SuperBantamweight of all-time and prevailed (In most people's mind). There is no way in Hell Pac could beat Barrera (esp when MAB was on the streak he was) but guess what..............................He did.


Pac would never beat Cotto in a fantasy fight as well. Cotto is a viscous body puncher, has great speed, the bigger man, and had the one punch that was Pac's kryptonite...which was the left hook. Not only that but he jabs with his dominate hand, a strategy that Morales used in the first fight to school Manny. Cotto wins vs Pac by 10th round TKO stoppage in a fantasy fight, but guess what.............................Pac ate his a$$ alive.


I am not saying Manny is invicible, hell I predict him to get KO'd pretty soon (next big puncher he faces), but these threads are plaid out. We get it Manny doesn't win any fantasy fight, but Fvkk all of that, we win the real ones and that's all that matters to me.

for real...the only chance casa has is if bad refereing.......if lawrence cole for example refs that fight , he might get allwoed to use his usaul dirty tactics, but thats the only thing tha'd save him from getting ktfo!

LOL I can't believe how underrated pac is at 130. Do people forget he wen't 5-1-1 with 3 TKO's and countless KD's against the 3 headed monster from mexico(Morales, Barrera, Marquez).? give me a name that would go 5-1-1 with those 3 back to back to back. Sure he was not the more polished version of the Pac today but his speed, power and tenacity was unmatched. casa would get wrecked.

eh, I think Casamayor out boxes Manny, roughs him up but possibly gets dropped early. He'd get up and probably open a cut on Manny using his head and punches ala Agapito Sanchez; (the ref may not see the butt because he's so slick) and once Casamayor sees blood then he'd work that spot. Manny would get desperate from the cut and go for the KO giving Casamayor more countering opportunities and probably walk into some big shots. Casamayor would taunt & work the cut using every trick in the book while boxing backward; holding, butting etc; until the doctors stop the fight from the bleeding. They'd either go to the scorecards (if the ref saw the butt) and Manny would win based on early aggression and the knockdown; (if the ref missed the butt) Casamayor wins by a cut stoppage and Pacquiao & Arum demand a rematch with a new ref.
