It will never happen. GGG tried to fight him at 154 a few years ago when Mayweather held two world titles at that weight that he never once defended. If Mayweather KOed GGG in the 1st round it still would not make him the best ever. It takes many great wins to get that honor not just one giant win.

Do you seriously think the drained 152 pound 23 year old Canelo Mayweather beat is just as good as the 160 pound 27 year old Canelo who fought GGG??? As far as Canelo boxing GGG's ears off the big majority thought GGG won the fight. Either Canelo or GGG would slaughter today's Mayweather if he fought them now. Mayweather was great but not nearly as great as you are trying to make him. Don't worry. He is safely retired and won't be coming back to fight any champion boxers at 147 and absolutely not at 154 or 160. Hell, he wouldn't fight Canelo at 154 even when he wasn't too far over the hill.

Or if he ran through DJ and Ca$hnelo, but he didn't.

Every time he's fought a fulltime boxer he's looked average :/

Floyd is 41 and I don't think even know either would beat him yet alone slaughter him..

All that Steel Reserve must have fried your brain if you think Canelo boxed his ears off.

Mayweather could beat Joshua and Wilder on the same night and people will call him a fraud. History is in the eye of the beholder. Mayweather will always be beholden in a negative light by too many to change his status.

Golovkin won or at most it was a draw. Canelo outboxed him early but began to gas a bit.

As for Mayweather Golovkin- nothing more than an intriguing fantasy fight that never had a realistic chance of happening. And if even if he did beat Golovkin, that wouldn't make him TBE.
