He made a total of $17 mil for the Manny trilogy alone. Add up all his high profile HBO fights, and he struck gold with boxing.

I often bring up Bradley and still label him a top 3 welter, problem is, he has been inactive so long he does not deserve to be in any ranking list. Another issue is, as op pointed out, he made huge amounts of money fighting Pac and JMM and he does not need to or want to fight again.

i do remember him saying years ago when he was big and his contract was up with arum, he renewed his contract without much hesitation and said he knew that he was still guaranteed some big fights with arum and there were no guarantees he would get the floyd fight.

the chances of him getting a floyd fight were pretty good and he could have made 8-10 million in one night, he just doesnt have that kind of drive on the business side of things, seems happy to fight whatever arum wants him to and make whatever arum will pay him.

his wife is a massive ugly cow, so hopefully she wont ever leave him and take half his ****. It just came out that jin mosley was a stripper and prostitute ("escort") in the past, how can shane have been so dumb to marry a god damn prostitute when hes a millionaire celebrity. AND even her long term friends warned shane not to marry her. WTF shane
Floyd's opponents don't make that much off him. In just his 1st fight with Manny, he got paid more than what he would've seen with Floyd. Bradley's not a name. After miadana beat Broner with all that hype around him, he only made $5 mil with Floyd.

I think it's safe to say Bradley made the right business decision. I bet he would've made what Guerrero got at $3 mil. LMAO at $8-$10 mil. With Floyd? Good luck with that.

cotto and other common opponents made more with floyd than with pacquiao. even if floyd takes a larger split than pac, there is more money in the pot because haymon takes less in fees than arum and floyd sells more than pac.

Cotto made $12 million from the Manny fight, and $8 million with Floyd. Barton made pretty much identically the same against both guys. Mosley made $1 million extra, and that's after his huge win agaisnt Margarito. And Canelo got screwed against Floyd if it wasn't for the Mexican TV deal he got a cut of. And Oscar made pretty much $35 mil for the Floyd and Manny fights.

And again, 3 big paydays with Manny > 1 pay day agaisnt Floyd, that probably won't even equal to a single Manny fight, when you consider even Canelo only had a gauruntee of $5 mil against Floyd.

The dude beat every single fighter that was put in front of him besides Manny Pacquiao. It's amazing to me that his name isn't even brought up anymore in the big picture when it comes to 147. If Pacquiao won't fight Errol or Keith, why not Timmy?? Is it solely because of Bob Arum? Or is it just because Tim ain't even considered active anymore? I mean Tim's no spring chicken -- he's 33, but he still has at least a couple of years left in him, no?

Tim's still a really tough out for anybody around 147. It's a damn shame that we don't even hear from the guy anymore. By November that'll be a full 24 month window and the only fight that he's had during that time was Pacquiao/Bradley 3.

hahaha i do miss timmy. His prime version would have done good against these young guns. I dont know about today though, he's prime passed so fast man, and to say pac is still even around.

If he has anything left and even do he'd likely lose, i'd still be cheering for him against spence or thurman.

I'd like to see Tim fireman Bradley in the mix of new WWs.. but the guy is considering retirement if he doesn't fight and that's a sign that tells us he might as well hang em up..

I think Timmy should retire rich and healthy - for an African American boxing professional that is quite an achievement. He is a positive role model for what can be achieved with courage, family support and good business judgement.

Bradley isn't known to be a seasoned Welter, like Pac I guess, but then you have Thurman, Spence Jr., Porter I guess....Pac don't want to place his chips there. Marquez 4 in all honesty must be a terrifying thought for him and his family. The guys mentioned are some heavy hitters with much more speed at 147. Would 2 pounds had made a difference against Cotto back then? Why wouldn't Pac fight Cotto again at 150 if Pac agreed above 147 with Margarito?

oh yeah we were talking about BRadley! Let him enjoy life with his Mexican wife and good food by the beach! They watch Marquez 4 every friday night in Cancun! beast mode!
