That's cute. But it doesn't address the question.

Do you think its a coincidence that Ron named his son after Ayn Rand?

tell me this, what work of Sowell's have you read?

last time we discussed him you had nothing, I have the PMs to show that you knew nothing about him and had a great interest in his work.

I've read his articles on moar than one occasion. His "work" isn't difficult to digest. Its the usual Austrian claptrap that he stole from Von Mises and Von Hayek and Friedman.

If you've heard one Austrian you've heard them all.

Its the economic theory of rich financial oligarch's that want slave labor and a workforce that doesn't talk back.

Its not hard to understand. That's my main issue with him, on other issues, he's acceptable.

I also don't remember ever sending you pm's about him.

he didnt steal it, he applied it to more modern situations... like sears, montgomery ward etc. things more people can relate to (at least back 30-40 years ago when he wrote it)

this is primarily what we discussed last time we talked about him, and regardless of how you feel about his economic principles, (as i told you before) i think you'd really enjoy his "The Vision of the Annointed" book. It hits on a lot of areas you find interesting.

as do i, and i have no quarrels regarding it either

personally i dont like Rand as much as Ron, but Rand is better than 99% of Conservatives, so its better than nothing IMO

I think he's 90% perfect, I just don't like his view on economics. But I'd overlook it in a second if he got elected.
