if angulo was next, it'd be the "fighter X looked like shit, we'll fight him now" move. that could always backfire, but i don't think it will in this case. angulo needs more fights to work his way to the top and earn a title shot. trout, lara, martirosyan, molina, and mayweather are the only guys i'm interested in seeing alvarez face right now. realistically it's between cotto and mayweather though.

I don't think he is, not right now. It doesn't look like he's "back" yet.

That's what makes him perfect, his name is better than his ability. They get to say, get off our back, we just fought a legit 154er. Though if he's just rusty, it's a risky fight and so far they haven't shown any appetite for that.
