Or at the very least, it is the risk that people have to understand that they are taking.

Perhaps it is a noble sacrifice he has made. And perhaps people can respect that. But it isn't much of a sacrifice if nothing is lost.

He has enough baggage in his life for 10 people.
      More imagined that real
      He needs mental help.

How much money is he asking as a back up doe? That could be the issue. Definitely good enough as back up but not with starter money

But all NFL has to say is the guy was a proponent of cop killing and sponsors/fans frown on that.

Collusion means, all the NFL teams worked together to banish him, when in reality, he did it to himself..

Ravens were going to sign him until the slavemaster controversy started from HIS camp.

Kap's case has about as much credibility as nelly's rape victim
We'll see, I guess. The fact that every owner walked away from a talent who is a better QB than at least 10 of the QBs that started the year (and better than basically all of the backup and QBs) stinks really bad and does deserve to be looked at.

The legal suit puts the onus on reviewing records, and all it takes is one memo to start heading down the rabbit holes.

            What rule was broken though?

There's no rule that states that you have to stand with your hand over your heart for the anthem (the anthem was barely a point in the game less than 15 years ago anyway), he wasn't vulgar to anyone in any press engagements, nobody was assault, and, last I checked, he still has the freedom to speak his mind as an American (whether you want to acknowledge him as an American or not).

To now try and act as if Kaepernick didn't have the ability to play makes your point even start weaker.

              Nice try

Not every offense was designed to take advantage of his ability, and not every place where his skills would fit had an open spot for him to come in and compete for.

Still, in the NFL right now, there are at least 5 places where you could plug him in as the starter right now and likely have better QB play, and there are at least another 10 spots where he could comfortably come in and be the backup QB right now.

To say that it's okay that he's missed on every opportunity (with only Seattle and Baltimore even kind of thinking about bringing him in) is a bit much.

Hopefully the NFL can move forward from the Kaepernick era

Unwritten rules, don't cause your team to
                    lose paying fans.
