A solid and entertaining fighter. Not alot of power especially when he moved up in weight but good speed. The fights with Haugen were what I remember the most about him. Those were pick em fights. They had a genuine animosity between them which made the fights fun.I believe they became friends briefly afterward.Last edited by LITTLE JOE; 11-16-2017, 09:43 AM.

I trained with Vinny on a few occasions. He had heart and talent, but wasn't elite as far as ATG status is concerned. His best fights were Dele and the first Haugen fight ( that was controversial) to many. Probably juiced after his accident, but like many fighters there is no real proof. May belong in the HOF not for being great, but for being a great draw like many other fighters. I wouldn't vote for him, but a case can be made considering others who have made it. Jmo.
