Pharmaceutical giants caught supplying cartels

My town sadly has a pretty big meth problem so hearing things like this really pisses me off.

"Belgium's federal prosecutors are applying to have seven pharma executives put on trial on suspicion of supplying a key ingredient for making crystal meth to a Mexican drug cartel, a spokesman said on Wednesday."

Not surprised, most folks don't know that the Pharmaceutical industry is very shady and a dirty business.
They supply drugs to people that are made to trick the cells in acting as if the drug is doing good but in actuality it isn't.
Basically, their business is to keep you sick and coming back for more help.
Obviously, not all medical professionals are sociopathic greedy monsters but it's somethin that should be talked about since it affects us all.

Not all of them are sociopathic greedy monsters, agreed. But some of them certainly appear to be. No ethics whatsoever and they don't care what negative effects to society their greed and corruption might cause.

pharmaceutical companies always hire people working for regulatory governing bodies like the FDA and DEA so they know how to betteer break the law without getting caught. a large chunk of the FDA's budget come from big pharma donations.

I remember seeing a movie about how crooked the FDA was a few years back. Like Sterling said, the FDA always hires former pharma execs for big positions and then they get recycled back into the pharma business. They are trained to shoot down homeopathic remedies for things, especially cancer, because of the money that is generated off of pills. They even went into the topic of fillings for cavities. Dentists knew for years that amalgam fillings were toxic to people but were told to use them (forgot the reason now) and if a dentist spoke out against their usage, they would be blacklisted in the industry and never be able to work again.

The cancer thing was the craziest thing....there were these treatments that involved special diets and the German doctor who came up with it was poisoned twice because it would have meant the end to western cancer treatments. There was also talk of how bad aspartame is, it causes brain lesions yet the FDA says it's cool to put in sweeteners.
