well, to each his own. i thought it had a great aesthetic, a lot of salient points to make about the world today, and the dialogue was sharp as fuck. shame was quality too, but i think that was late 2011.

I'd have to go by what left the best impression on me. So without being smug, it's a tossup between 'Looper' and 'Dark Knight Rises'.

^^^Haven't seen 'The Master' yet. Wasn't available in my area and can't find a damn workable link anywhere. I know I'm bound to like that one as the previews appealed to me.

I thought that 2012 released a good amount of quality flicks. I enjoyed Prometheus as well, but I think seeing a lot of these movies in 3D/Imax had a lot to do with it, especially in the case of Dredd 3D.
