Eubank Jr vs Smith in the finals with Eubank Jr taking it & upsetting 1/3 of the haters on NSB.

And I'd throw Rob Brant in as a sleeper at 50/1 (which is NUTS, despite me feeling like he easily is the least proven & maybe even the least talented guy in the tournament), since I think he has a decent to good chance of winning his first fight + Smith is still pretty unproven so who says he doesn't get upset in the QF's or loses to Brant & sh^t maybe Eubank Jr & Groves nearly kill each other & the winner gots to opt out of the tournament with injuries & then Brant gots to fight the Italian(?) sub guy in the finals or something lol. Mainly I don't see virtually any chance Eubank Jr & Groves don't fight each other in the semifinals so the whole other side of the bracket seems WIDE OPEN to me potentially & anyone could potentially get through since guys are old, unproven, of unknown ability vs higher level guys so its much more up for grabs. Obviously a long shot to go down, but I like that better then any other bottom 5 guy doing something vs whats in front of them.

I have a sneaky feeling that Eubank Jr. just might pull this off.

Brant at 50/1?

Never seen him fight but he spars top fighters and 50/1 looks too long as really there is no real cast iron favorite for me and I guess if I'm a fan of any single fighter it's George Groves. But George is vulnerable. That's why he's exciting. I even think Cox who as Jim Watt would say 'has a solid look about him' could go to war with Groves too and injuries like Panda said could occur in all Groves' potential match ups.

I'll probably go to Groves vs Cox too.

Calum Smith looks likely to be in the final but he hasn't fought anyone good ever since he got that mandatory spot. He went from beating that French dude Degale fought, Rebrasse, and Rocky Fielding to the last 3 opponents they fought who with all due respect were mediocre. That isn't great management really is it?

It is like Chelsea playing 3 games against Shrewsbury, Oldham, and Accrington Stanley and then going in cold against a half-decent side like Southampton.

That can't be good for a fighter. None of the fighters are used to losing so it could feel like a leap. Isn't it only Groves and Braehmer who have lost full stop?

Groves is actually the one who is carrying real form now though but I agree with Panda. I just think something will happen to him.

I'll put a token tenner on Brant at those odds.

Callum Smith will win probably with 3 stoppages.

I hope the winner faces the winner of Zurdo vs Hart

Like Sparked mentioned, 50-1 is a steal for Brant, although i jus checked and the max bet is 8usd

Eubank is favourite for me as he is fresher than groves

Groves 2nd fav

Callum is the biggest out the lot . he's overrated but has enough about him to be 3rd fav IMHO

I've heard good things about anvi

Brahmar is too old and coming down in weight

Callum Smith vs Eubank Jr in the final is a WAR and i give Callum the edge, too big and strong for Eubank who would struggle to exert his usual physical advantages. Eubank beats Groves in the semi who seems damaged and low on confidence these days, title win was good but he still seemed highly vulnerable to be outworked and pressured.

This tournament is cool but it's a shame the likes of Degale and Zurdo aren't in it. Then the winner of the tournament could unify with the Benavidez-Dirrell winner.
