Abraham moved up to super middleweight when Pavlik was still king at 160 and Williams and Martinez landed in the division.
(When Abraham defeated Taylor he delivered him the 4th loss in 5 fights...)

I dont think hes all that underrated, he was a favorite going into the super six.

The opinion I see most often is that hes slipping, not really that he had a bad career

When he finally stepped up it was at super middleweight and was dominated.
Edison Miranda was undefeated in 26 fights, having won 23 of them by KO, a knockout machine that usually finished the opponents within 1 round and who managed to break Arthur's jaw in the fourth round...

You don't respect such a beastly win for Arthur Abraham?

When Taylor entered the fight against Abraham, his last two matches had gone like this:

          - Taylor defeated Jeff Lacy. Jeff Lacy had recently beat guys like Robin Reid, Peter Manfredo and Vitali Tsykpo. Taylor was definetely a quality fighter.
          - Taylor dominated ATG Carl Froch, even knocking him down for the first time in his career, before the stoppage in the 12th round, proving Taylor was still world class.

Going by the last two fights before fighting Arthur, Taylor was definetely a win worthy of mentioning. No one should say otherwise.

He was a decent MW champion, against lower level guys but wasn't able to fight the best MW at that time (Pavlik) and was outclassed at SMW. I guess his best win was Taylor, who may/may not have been damaged goods by then.

How could Taylor be damaged goods if he was still young and just had a very good perfomance against an ATG few months prior to this fight? Without even getting knocked out cold, being stopped on his legs?

Come on he lost twice to Pavlik and got brutally stopped by Froch. He was well past prime by time he fought AA. Even so, it's still a good win for AA.

AA is not and never was a world class fighter, his only notable wins are against shot Taylor off of a ko loss and an iffy win over Steiglitz avenged by a tko.

He just was never that good even if he could hit like a truck.

Miranda's best win was getting robbed against Abraham. Abraham wasn't able to avenge that 'loss' until Pavlik ruined Miranda. Arthur did show a lot of courage going so many rounds with a broken jaw.

Abraham's record at middleweight is on par with Golovkin's, maybe even worse.

Once he stepped up in competition at super middleweight he was exposed as a one dimensional fighter. Although, truth be told he should have never moved up, I've always thought he was too small for super middleweight.
