Matchroom brings nothing to the table they could do what lou dibella is doing for PBC but Lou at least has name in the industry and some pull unlike Eddie Hearn

Haymon has to have something up his sleeve. Only 3 of his fighters have gone with Hearn. Jacobs on HBO and Vargas/Miller with DAZN.

I don't see why he would do that either considering him along with Floyd and Espinoza are all loyal to each other

Or instead of giving $1 Billion for Matchroom, DAZN should've split the pie up to multiple AMERICAN PROMOTERS since you're trying to build up your following in America. AJ is a huge draw in the UK but not here in the US so NO he alone will not get Americans to pay 9.99 for that APP. Sadly here in the US more will buy DAZN for Bellator than its current boxing content

Let's just face some facts. Hearn needs fighters and Haymon needs more time slots. He can't put all of his 200 plus fighters on cable television, premium cable television and network television at the same time. Most of the talent on his roster fights once a year anyway. However on DAZN they have a chance of getting major exposure even though their fights would be live streamed online only in the states but also they will be televised on Sky sports in the U.K. As well.

They won't. It's just the guys who don't get much exposure signing to the DAZN due to a limited amount of tv dates, like: Vargas, Miller, Hooker, Andrade, Roman etc.

For sure. But remember how pissed Charlo was that he had to open for Broner? Those are the type of moves that will have fighters leaving Showtime.

haymon is a manager. he should be loyal to his clients. why should he blockade everyone with the limited slots on showtime? just so some other network doesn't prosper? seems like a conflict of interest there. hes got his hand in too many cookie jars

Vargas would be Thurmans mandatory on his return, its not like theres nothing there for him on Showtime.

DAZN wanted 32 shows, every year, for the next two years but with the option to have that for 6 more years.

You can't fill that type of schedule by simply picking off shows, event to event. Hearn overpromised, but he starts the deal with half of the obligation already covered.
