there is no doubt about that

the doctor did not punch Klitschko so often, and with such ferocity, that his face started falling off..... Lewis did
You seem like you've been watching boxing a long time, so I'd just say, you know your using that term incorrectly, and it seems to me that your trolling. Lewis was getting soundly beaten. He was very unprepared for the fight, he had no game plan, all he did was walk straight in to Vitali and threw mostly hay maker rights. Credit to him because the cut/cuts were caused by clean punches, but like I said most were just purse swinging. The reason why he was saved by the cut, was because his stamina was so bad he could barely walk to and out of the corner. Two maybe three rounds he gets knocked out. The reason why the Dr. stopped the fight was due to damage to the eye, Vitali did not stop, he was ready and willing to continue fighting. The fight was not stopped because Vitali couldn't defend himself, because he was taking to much accumulative damage with out responding, multiple knockdowns, any one of those reasons which would be considered Lewis stopping Vitali - But thats not what happened. The fight goes down in history as TKO 6 due to cuts.

"Dr. Paul Wallace, the ringside physician, told the referee to stop the fight after the sixth round due to the cut over Klitschko's left eye"

Please stop trolling, and lets have a straight conversation.

Vitali gave a very good account of himself. But Lennox sliced the man to ribbons and it was only going to get worse because Lennox was sitting on his punches more and more. If you have never seen a guy blinded from boxing then you know why the fight was stopped. Lennox stopped the man only the made the call. Why did he make that call?

Lewis was a veteran pro, who knew how to win

those cuts were going to get MUCH worse in the next 1-2 rounds

We know. Vitali would've fought on too, but the cuts were just too bad.

yea, Vitali was a beast, seriously

the thing is, he fought the correct fight against the pugilist specialist

attempting to outbox Lewis, therefore playing to his strengths, would have been foolish..... a more aggressive approach worked well for him in the early stages

problem is, that approach was dangerous

not the first time I have seen that happen

a stoppage by the doctor/corner is as legit as you can get under queensbury rules

Watch how Lewis stumbles to his corner in the 6th, almost falls off his stool. If you think he would have lasted 2 more rounds, your not as informed as you think.

Doesn't matter how many times you say it, you're using the term incorrectly. You can repeat it, it doesn't make it true.

My dad always told me that if you have to say, "If you think"...then that means that I must've thought that I was smarter than him lol... That's why I never said that.

Why did he need a rematch?

Vitali had some success for a few rounds, Lewis adjusted and caved his face in and Vitali had to be stopped. Do you think Vitali's eye did that to itself? was it accidental? no. Lewis did it to him.

He stopped Vitali fair and square.
