Lewis won and defended his belt in the States. AJ sounds like he never wants to leave merry old England.

Lewis had a raft of Americans worth fighting. AJ beats Wilder over there, and then what? He comes home because there’s f***-all else to fight. There’s literally no upside to crossing the pond at the moment.

As I’ve said before, Wilder and his hoetrain of fanboys need to accept that he is the B-side due to his garbage resume and he’s dancing to AJ’s tune, not the other way around.

its not a bigger market for him though since no one knows him. potentially bigger if he can be built up but that takes time and boxing is a short term gain kind of sport. 80k fans and 1.5 million ppv buys in the uk cant be replicated overnight and joshua could be knocked out at any time. it would be smart to start fighting on american tv, kknock over an overrated bum like wilder and get fans, then possibly try the market and see whats up

The biggest star in USA is Canelo, that`s how it is. It is better for Joshua to milk his status in Uk than try to make a name in States..No need doing that.

I want him to fight in the US once at least.. But UK is the home of heavyweight boxing now.. It's a change of guard. AJ vs Wilder needs to happen in the UK.. It makes more money here.. Both guys get more money, more fans attend, more PPV.

Plus if it is in the UK the US still get to see it on a sociable time.. If it's in US then the UK gets it at 5am in the morning when every ****er is asleep. AJ is British.. You can't shaft your own fans like that.. They are the reason you are the biggest boxing star in the world.

There are no good heavyweights in America.. Wilder is the only guy and unknown in the US.. More people know him in the UK. The rest of the American heavyweights are trash.

While I think he would be a Superstar here, no he doesn't need to go to American at all when he is packing 70-90K and is going to make $20 Million to fight Pulev (now Takam)

Also has Network Deal with Showtime at the moment so we get to see him in America anyway. It would be different if AJ and Wilder was to switch current positions and AJ NEEDED to come over to make a bigger name for himself overall but that is not the case
