  • water intake during workout

    i've read an article saying that we should drink 8-10oz 10-15' before workout and 8-10oz/10-15' during workout. I think it's not correct. Water intake may change when we train in boxing. Do we have any formula for it?

    i got up to the water fountain every 10 minutes or so and get a couple gulps of water...

    i dont hydrate TOO much before so i dont cramp up... but i'll drink 8 oz within 15 minutes leading up to the workout

      I'll usually drink atleast 1.5 litres in a 1.5-2hr session.

        Same, I noticed that my water intake is around 2 litres in 2 hour training session. About 1.3 in 1 hour session.

          I usually drink about 1-1.25 litres over a 2hr session

          and about 200ml beforehand

              I don't drink much during workouts, i drink a water bottle before working out and i drink a protein shake mixed with water after my workout. I do about 2 hard hours a day 6 days a week.


              Come to think about it it's weird, i'm the only one at the gym who does that, most people make a trip to the fountain almost after each round.

                I drink a bit over 2L in 2 hours....How much are those gatorade bottles? 591 or something.......I have 4 of those...


                I notice that I drink a lot more than others.....everyone else just goes to a fountain and has a sip......I drink half a bottle in one go.
