If Cotto is KO'd in 2 rounds. I'll be one happy guy when it's time to bet on Floyd against Pacquiao, because they will actually make Pacquiao the favorite...
You think they'll make Pac the favorite? Maybe when the line opens but as the fight comes near I think itll be close.

DAMN, I can already see the hype going along with a Pac vs. Floyd matchup. This is seriously what boxing needs to bring it back to the mainstream.

Not no DLH vs. Floyd garbage which was all talk rarely action.

      good points on TS....

But i dont agree with the PERFECT MATCHMAKING...

      they DID NOT CHOOSE COTTO.....

bob arum... prepared the scenario to SERV THEM COTTO ..like...

this is going to be your next fight.... why???/

because... he knew from a long time ago. .that he w3as going to need a BIG FISH for cotto in order to kept him in his roster.

MANNY PAC... OR FREDDIE ROACH... didnt pick cotto as their first option...

they were very carefully directed to a clash with cotto by the MASTERMIND BOB ARUM...

      please picture the whole scenario

Above is the reason why Roach predicted Pacquiao would KO Hatton inside 3 rounds. The Irish southpaw using right hooks, Magee, knocked Hatton down in the first round and if it wasn't for the hometown ref, Hatton would have been KO'd in round 2. Hatton, a converted southpaw, is at a stylicatic disadvantage against right hooks and straight lefts. It's no wonder he was exposed by Magee and Collazo by those very two same weapons, and KO'd by Mayweather with a left hook.

Roach chose Cotto because he was stunned by Judah's straight left and was stunned by Corley's right hook, and stunned BADLY. He's damaged goods after Margarito and he feeds right into Pac's two best weapons... The straight left and right hook. Cotto has no D for those two punches. He's at a disadvantage stylistically due to him being a converted southpaw just like Oscar and Hatton, which is not enough to overcome his slight size advantage. 145 is not his normal fighting weight the past couple years anyway.

He'll perform "better" than the weight drained corpse of Oscar, but his career is almost over and this is the easiest fight styistically for Pacquiao at the WW level.

Pacquiao is exposed by the straight right hand. He lost to Morales and arguably lost to Marquez twice. Not to mention he had been hurt and knocked down by right hands in his career. This is why they chose Cotto over Mosley or Mayweather because their weapon is Pac's poison. Pacquiao vs Cotto should be called "Cotto's right hand vs Pacquiao's left." The outcome is obvious!

Roger Mayweather was asked about Cotto. His reply was, "He's the same damn fighter as Oscar, they both have no right hand".

Roach's comment on Oscar was, "Beristain won't be able to improve his right hand, he can tie his right hand behind his back, it's useless!"

AHAHAHAHHAA!!!!! As soon as i watched it on you tube i knew i recognized the voice. Karceno user is the biggest fraud jr nuthugger on youtube. reading the post i thought it was emmanuel steward or some utube fight user with good rep like gamblersadvisory. But its just some nuthugging douche.

Let me explain it to you maestro,

          Pac>>>>>>>>>>>Judah.

Pac is a aggressive volume punching southpaw. Judah is a slick counter punching southpaw.

Pac is a 12 round fighter. Judah is a 6 round fighter.

Pac is a big game fighter with big game fight experience. Judah is a pinhead who melts under pressure.

Judah fought a younger, fresher, faster mr.counterfeit cash.

Pac will fight a older, slower, less active mr.coutnerfeit cash.

Not saying pac will destroy mr.counterfeit cash, but judah & pac are completely different animals, & mr.counterfeit cash is a different fighter from the judah fight to the now version who will meet pacquiao.

            Roach chose no one.

Manny was sitting next to Arum the night of the fight Cotto vs Clottey.

During that fight, Manny told Arum, to make the fight happen.

All this Roach picked Cotto non sense you are throwing out here is hog wash. lol.

            Roach was not even there.

            Manny saw a shot fighter.
Or a fighter with lots of kinks in his own viewing of the fight.

what???? floyd has been the shrewdest match maker ever since he got to 140 lbs. floyd will not fight anyone that can beat him. that means we will not see PBF/Mosley or PBF/PWILL.

I have little inerest in either of these fghts. Any real boxing fan can pedict these outcomes.

Pac is a fav to beat Cotto
Floyd is a fav to beat Pac

Roach has never set a blueprint to beat a fighter. He's only copied the blueprint that someone else laid out. All of Pacquiao's opponents were coming off huge losses and at the end of their career. They chose Marquez x2 after he looked like garbage against Barrera, thinking he was old, which is the same reason why they chose Morales after he looked old against Barrera. That **** backfired when Morales whooped Pac's ass and JM out-boxed him x2.

Just speaking the truth here folks!

                    wtf????

jmm went on to KO casamayor (who had never been KOed before) and he KOed Diaz (who also had never been KOed before).

                    mab imho beat jmm.

morales loss to raheem because of the clash of styles and zahir's size.

all 3 are arguably ATG mexican boxers, and definitely international HOFers.

Pac got them late in their career, but pac has been fighting since 16 years old as well. he wasn't no spring chicken.

here is truth: floyd is the shrewdest match maker in boxing! he avoided freitas and casamayor and campbell at 130 lbs. he wanted to fight that midget Hamed but Larry shut him down. At 135 the only notable win there for floyd was castillo. then at 140, he avoided all the big punchers: tszyu, cotto, and harris. at 147, his resume is cherrypicked and he avoids mosley, cotto again, pwill, margo and clottey.

I'm not saying floyd wouldn't beat them all, IMHO he would, but he has to beat them in the ring to get credit. he can't just beat them in your imagination and on paper.

Floyd called out Casamyor and Frietas but they priced themselves out cos they didn't want any of him. Floyd was a beast and I don't blame most of those fighters for not fighting him, but you can't lay all the blame at his feet.

He said he'd love to fight Tszyu but he ended up tryin to chase Oscar too after saying how hard it was for him to make fights at the lower weights cos people were duckin him.
